BJJ: Derived from Judo by Carlos and Helio Gracie, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu teaches how to defend yourself in all situations. Almost all fights end up on the ground and it is this ground fight that Brazilian Jiu Jitsu focuses on. You will learn how to escape bad positions, maintain dominant positions, and apply and defend from chokes, arm bars, and leg locks. Come see why Brazilian Jiu Jitsu is the number one form of self defense and is taught to nearly every armed forces member and police academy in the United States! This class is taught in the Gi or Kimono. Students work to earn stripes and belts.
No Gi: Also known as submission wrestling, this is BJJ without a gi. Students will learn takedowns, reversals, throws, joint locks, chokes, and other submissions. Faster paced, this program works in unison with the gi program. Learn how to apply moves when you can’t grip clothing.
